YELLOW CLASS
3 - 4 Years Old
Our 3-Year-Old Class is all about growing independence, confidence, and curiosity. At this age, children are ready to explore a little more, try new things, and begin to see themselves as part of a classroom community.
This class meets Monday - Thursday from 9:00am-1:00pm, with a maximum of 10 students. We keep our days playful and engaging, filled with hands-on activities, art, music, stories, science, cooking, and outdoor fun. Our play-based approach helps children build early academic foundations — like recognizing letters, colors, and numbers — through joyful, meaningful experiences.
Social-emotional growth continues to be a big focus. We practice working together, sharing ideas, taking turns, and using words to express feelings. Teachers gently guide children as they learn problem-solving and kindness, helping them build friendships and confidence in who they are.
Circle time, group projects, and imaginative play encourage cooperation and communication, while still giving plenty of space for each child’s individual interests and pace.
Our goal is for every child to feel proud of what they can do, excited to learn, and happy to be part of our preschool family.
