Dizzybus Preschool is a small, play-based preschool located in the Newport Hills neighborhood
of South Bellevue, Washington, serving families from Bellevue, Newcastle, Renton, Issaquah, and Mercer Island. Our experienced teaching team creates a warm and joyful learning environment where children ages 2–5 build confidence, friendships, and a love of learning.

Many members of our team have been part of Dizzybus for over 15 years—something that is increasingly rare in early childhood education. This consistency creates a warm, nurturing environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to come to school each day.

Our Leadership Team
Dizzybus Preschool is guided by a small, experienced leadership team that works closely
together to support our students, teachers, and families.
Ms. Dizzy, the founder and owner of Dizzybus Preschool, leads the vision and culture of the
school while also teaching our Green Class.
Ms. Diane, our Preschool Director and Red Class Pre-K teacher, helps shape the curriculum,
classroom structure, and educational development of the program.
Together they lead a team of dedicated teachers who are passionate about helping young children
grow in confidence, independence, and curiosity.
Ms. Dizzy
Founder, Owner & Green Class Teacher
Ms. Dizzy is the founder and owner of Dizzybus Preschool and also leads the Green Class, where she especially loves working with two-year-olds—often the very first classroom experience for many young children.
She understands how important those early drop-offs can be and focuses on helping each child feel safe, loved, and comfortable as they begin their preschool journey. Watching children grow from hesitant newcomers into confident little friends who run into school excited to see their classmates is one of her favorite parts of teaching.
In addition to teaching, Ms. Dizzy oversees the vision and daily operations of Dizzybus Preschool, working closely with staff and families to maintain the warm, connected community the school is known for. She believes preschool should feel like an extension of a child’s family—where every child is known, supported, and celebrated.
Ms. Diane
Preschool Director & Red Class Pre-K Teacher
Ms. Diane has been part of Dizzybus Preschool since 2010 and has played an important role in shaping the program into what it is today.
As Preschool Director, she helps guide the development of the curriculum and classroom structure that supports children as they grow from the Green Class through Pre-K. She also leads the Red Class, where she prepares students for kindergarten through a thoughtful blend of hands-on learning, independence, and confidence-building experiences.
Ms. Diane is incredibly creative and brings a unique artistic touch to the school. Each month she transforms our dramatic play bus into a magical imaginative learning space that children love exploring.
Her dedication, creativity, and passion for early childhood education help create classrooms where children feel excited to learn every day and are well prepared for their next steps in school.
Ms. Alyssa

Yellow Class Teacher
Ms. Alyssa has been with Dizzybus Preschool since 2009 and leads our Yellow Class.
She brings wonderful energy, warmth, and creativity to her classroom. You will often hear her singing with the children, reading stories, or guiding hands-on activities that help young learners explore the world around them.
Ms. Alyssa enjoys incorporating music, sign language, cooking projects, outdoor exploration, and engaging science activities into her classroom. She is always researching new ways young children learn best and thoughtfully applies those ideas in her teaching.

Ms. GG
Program Support & School Operations
Ms. GG has been part of the Dizzybus family since 2005 and is a trusted and essential member of our team.
Often described as our “Swiss Army knife,” she supports wherever she is needed—helping in classrooms, substituting when teachers are away, assisting on the Tumblebus, and helping with birthday parties and special events.
Her long history with Dizzybus means she understands the rhythm of the school and supports both teachers and families in countless ways behind the scenes. Her flexibility, reliability, and dedication help keep the school running smoothly each day.
