Dizzy's Tumblebus & Bus Stop (Dizzybus) is committed to the health and safety of all our students and staff. 

Following the outbreak of COVID-19 and its proceeding variants, Dizzybus has followed Washington State’s mandates and the national data provided by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the Washington State Guidelines for King County.

Dizzybus follows the Seattle and King County Public Health Return to School Flow Chart and the child may return to school when the requirements of the Flow Chart are met. Click here to view the flow chart.

Dizzybus has returned to an entirely in-person program and intends to continue as such unless mandated otherwise by local, state, and federal public health officials, including the CDC.

MASKS:

As of March 12, 2022,  Washington State has lifted indoor masking requirements. Dizzybus is following this state-wide mandate, keeping masking as an optional accessory for all families, students, faculty & staff.

As listed by local, state and federal public health officials, "people who are immunocompromised, unvaccinated, or feel sick should wear masks to protect themselves and others when in indoor public spaces."

VACCINATIONS:

Dizzybus encourages all children and staff to receive the COVID-19 vaccine and their recommended doses for full protection and prevention.  Currently all Dizzybus staff members are vaccinated with exemption to those with religious and health reasons.

TESTING, ISOLATION & QUARANTINE:

Dizzybus follows the CDC and DOH Guidelines for all schools and early childhood programs. As of January 6th, 2022, CDC, followed by the DOH,  have issued further updates shifting the quarantine period from 10 to 5 days if you have tested positive for COVID, regardless of vaccination status. CLEANING & DISINFECTING:

Dizzybus follows strict cleaning and disinfecting procedures. Toys, equipment, and high-touch surfaces, especially doorknobs, railings, and restrooms are cleaned and sanitized regularly.
